Playing the Cornhole game is simple. People can learn in just a few minutes, and the game is not difficult to set up. It uses a three foot by two foot board with a hole in it. The board is on an angle, and the object is to take small, weighted cornhole bags and throw them through the hole to score points. There are points – but fewer of them – scored by getting bags to stay on the board, even if they do not drop through the hole. The first person or team to get twenty-one points wins the game. Bags are filled with corn, with beans, or with hard plastic pellets, and made of a durable cloth. The boards are usually wooden, but they can be plastic as well. Since the game is so easy to set up and play, no one should have to be excluded from playing it, making it an activity that can work to bring families closer together.
