Who’s up for a nice, warm and cozy fire? Ahh, folks go nuts over simple amenities like this. There’s just something peaceful and comforting about an old-school fireplace. Oh wait; I think I know what it is. Could it be the calming, hot flames? Hey, I think I’m onto something here. But let’s talk about the aesthetics. We all know that fireplaces produce heat and provide for a happy warm home, but what else is there? There’s the artistic beauty of course. Have you ever come across cultured stone fireplaces? These are a wonderful addition to any home. Maybe it’s time you supped-up your family room, bedroom or den a little.
I love my fireplace! It’s great. That’s all there really is to say about it. I use it in the late fall and winter and I never get sick of hearing that wood crackle or those flames rage. My daughter is always roasting marshmallows on it. She loves to do this at night time and make smores. Hey, what kid wouldn’t? Now, there is one issue with the appearance of my fireplace. It’s marble. I don’t like this. Of course I realize that a lot of people love marble and they think it’s upper-scale bla, bla, bla. However, I don’t personally care for its appeal. It’s just not like brick, rustic, or cultured stone fireplaces. These are what I go for. I guess you could say I’m more of an old-fashioned guy.
